Slim Is Simple – Watch this video

This is a great video on nutrition and how we have gotten way off track. Chances are you will learn something if you watch this. It could change your life. Please watch it.

The only thing I disagree with is talking about “going to the gym” as a negative thing. We still need to be active – even if we are at a healthy weight. Maybe it doesn’t have to be a gym membership, but exercise is still extremely important to our health.

Kettlebell swing instructions

When people try the kettlebell swing for the first time, they often lift the kettlebell and swing it with their arms and shoulders. The key is to use the hips. If your hip thrust isn’t quick or “violent” your kettlebell won’t  swing very high and you’ll find yourself struggling. You really have to pop your hips, like this guy.

The Real Bears

This is why I tell my clients to cut soda. Keep it as a rare treat or don’t keep it at all.
